In 1998, the liquid cooling enter our sights in China, but at then, most of the coolers used water and this supported by the DIYers. Though Zhongyu CoolMax ever enter the market, it did not get success.

For overclockers, the aircooling is not enough. Further more the GPU is getting more and more heats and all of these caused higher demands for the coolers.
We can see the liquid cooling is not only to feed the CPU demands, it also need to cool the whole system. Today we will introduce the Dongyuan syscooling 240TD-XB for you.

Dongyuan syscooling 240 equipped two 12cm quiet fans which can provide powerful aircooling and ensure the low noise. In the tests we find they are really quiet, even you cannot hear the noise.

Dismantle the original cooler and do not throw it away, because if your graphics card need repairing the cooler will be necessary, and then fix it with the snails.





Liquid pipes setup is important
Pipes connect:
Dongyuan syscooling 240 provide a whole pipe and you need to cut it into suitable length. Here, we cut 15cm for CPU, GPU and Northbridge connections and cut the left from the mid for the cooler connection.

The case we chose NZXT ALPHA for its side baffle used transparent glass and it is easy for us to look into.
The CPU we used Pentium D 820 whose power and heat are high. And the graphics card we used GF 9600GT for its good cooler.

We also used SP2004 to simulate CPU load state while the graphics card runs 3D MARK06 and record its working temperature. We tested the motherboard temperature by running CRYSIS.
Test method:
Five minutes later after the computer worked, record the CPU, graphics and MB temperature. Run SP2004 10 minutes, record the CPU working temperatures and the changes. Run 3D MARK06 30 minutes and record the temperatures and the changes. Run CRYSIS 10 minutes and record the temperatures and the changes. The definitions of 3D MARK06 and CRYSIS are 1280×1024, 4X AA and 16X AF.

From the tests we can see it really did a good job and it also worked stedily.

We improved 400MHz of PentiumD 820 CPU to 3.2GHz and to see the XB cooling effects while the graphics we improved its core clock to 750MHz, shader 1799MHz and the video memory 1998MHz.

From the tests we can see it settled the main three parts cooling problem and the cooling effects are much better than the aircooling. Its integrated design made the users more easily to fix it.
It can provide AMD platform buckles but you only can choose one suit buckles for AMD or other platforms.

It is very quiet and its price is about 598CHY.
